Walt C. Hoskins

On Thursday May 21, 2009, our dear friend Walt passed away
from complications of Diabetes.  Walt was a co-founder of our
original league, JansMen that is now JansRainbow.  Walt was also
a driving force as an Alamo City Tournament Committee member
for many years.  Walt moved to Houston and was a part of the
Houston Invitational Tournament Committee.  Later, Walt moved
to Oklahoma City and was part of the OK Classic Committee.  
Walt was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed by
all.  I learned recently that Walt was a Viet Nam veteran and a
Prisoner of War (POW).  Walt was such an inspiration to everyone
as he continued to bowl league and tournament after recovering
from a stroke.  Our condolences go out to his family and friends
and especially Scott Orcutt, Sherry Lebus and Pat Bell.  Also, our
sympathy goes out to the Oklahoma City bowling community and
the Houston bowling community.
